In this lesson
Construct and read a time-series line graph, including reading a vertical scale where each small division doesn't stand for 1, 5 or 10, and describe the trend in a sentence tied to the context.
What it covers
- Plotting and completing points on a time-series axis where time runs along the horizontal axis
- Reading a value from a vertical scale where the small divisions increment in a non-standard step (not 1, 5 or 10)
- Describing a trend shown on a time-series graph in a full sentence naming the quantity and the time interval (e.g. seasonal variation, a general increase or decrease)
