In this lesson
Given a shape and its image with the transformation type not stated, identify whether it is a reflection, rotation, translation or enlargement, and give a complete, single-transformation description.
What it covers
- Deciding which single transformation type (reflection, rotation, translation, enlargement) links a shape to its image, by checking size change, orientation flip, and position change in that order
- Giving every required defining parameter for whichever type is identified
- The explicit rule: describe ONE transformation only, never a combination, even if a combination would also work
